Felt like this was a "bait and switch" deal. We got the living social deal but when we arrived, we found out the owner was on vacation so the experience wasn't as nice as we expected. Sub-par breakfast. Oh well.

Great room and one of the best innkeepers in the business. Excellent breakfast and good conversation. Mary was even our designated driver - taking us to Hood River for the Wine Train and picking us up so we were all safe. We will be back.

My wife and I were looking for a little place to stay in the area of Mt. Hood while we attended a wedding. While looking she fond this lovely little place, I have never stayed at a bed and breakfast before so I thought I would give it a try. This is a lovely older home close to many winery's and fruit orchards. It has stayed true to the area with modern conveniences like Wifi and other things. It has three lovely little rooms each with its own bath. The hospitality was wonderful, breakfast was not a free for all. It was personally cooked and ready at the time I wanted to eat within in the inns specified breakfast hours 0730 to 0930. The breakfast included the well known favorites along with local fruits and berries. I had a very enjoyable stay here and I would defiantly stay here again.

If you're headed up to the Mt Hood area to ski or board (or even when the snow isn't around) the Old Parkdale Inn is a great overnight option from the resorts and the chain hotels. Mary, the innkeeper does an excellent job with the three rooms she has in this charming B&B. Expect a room with the comforts of home - HDTV, iPod hook up radio, comfy bed with plenty of sheets, toiletries, candles and a great view of the garden. Breakfast is served around 8:30ish or sooner and there is always coffee, tea and sherry available 24/7.

My husband and I LOVE the Old Parkdale Our first visit to this wonderful B&B was shortly after we were engaged. Parkdale in Spring and Summer is Lovely! We love the artist themed guest rooms. We always stay in the O'Keefe room which has a small kitchenette allowing us to snack in the evening and wake up to a delicious breakfast by Mary who is an awesome hostess-with-the-most-est!! We will plan a weekend get-away to Parkdale at least once a year because this little slice of paradise is so relaxing and beautiful, and Mary and the Old Parkdale Inn have a special place in the story of my husband and I falling in love. We not only have recommended this place to friends and family (who also love this place) we gave a night at the Old Parkdale Inn to some friends as a Wedding gift because we think it's a gem hidden near Mt. Hood!
